Inaugural Maritime Industry Awards

Individuals and companies who demonstrate excellence in Ireland’s maritime and marine sectors will be eligible for nomination in the first-ever Maritime Industry Awards, taking place on June 18, 2015.

The awards will recognise and celebrate innovation across a range of categories to reflect diversity, such as manufacturing, port operations, aquaculture, education and sustainability.

Seafood Development Agency, BIM, is sponsoring two categories: Aquaculture Excellence Awards and Fishing Operator of the Year, and believes these sectors should get national recognition for their high standards.
